Model 1840 N.C.O. Sword. Brass guard is stamped, “JH,” for John Hannis, arsenal inspector. Blade: 32″ long. Overall: 39″ long. Condition- Missing scabbard. Brass handle has a nice patina. Blade has residue from old surface rust. See photos.
