M. Whitlock New York Model 1860 Staff & Field Officer’s Sword. Etched blade marked, “U.S.” Decorative brass hilt and wire wrapped handle. Blade: 28″ long. Overall: 34 1/2″ long. Overall with metal scabbard: 35 3/4″ long. Condition- Grip has some wear. Scabbard has some light surface rust. Brass has a dark patina. Blade has some old cleaned surface rust. See photos.
