Description
Extremely Rare 1954 Joe Black Brooklyn Dodgers Coca Cola Cardboard Sign. This is possibly the only known example of this sign. This sign features Joe Black wearing his Brooklyn Dodgers uniform and cap drinking a Coke with a Coca Cola Script sign on his right shoulder and Joe is surrounded by a Brooklyn "B". Marked – Copyright 1954 The Coca Cola Company Litho. An unusual sign that could be displayed as a standup sign when inserted into a Coke carton, with the carton tabs cut away, displayed as an easel back or a hanging sign.. . 11 3/4" Wide X 20 1/4" High.
Condition: Condition – Front has some stains to the left side and edge wear losses. Three crease bends to the bottom carton tabs. This sign was never displayed, easel back has never been opened. Some discoloration, staining and edge wear loss to verso.
