Description
Winchester Model 1873 32-20 Lever Action Rifle. Serial number 407065B, this gun was manufactures in the early months of 1892. The octagon barrel measures 26" Long. Walnut stock and forearm. This is the gun that tamed the West. The top of the barrel is marked King’s Improvement Patented March 29th, 1866 and October 16th, 1860. This firearm was manufactured before 1898. ***Buyer must be 21 years or older to purchase and a resident US citizen. This firearm will not be sold to residents of California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Kansas, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Washington D.C., or US Territories*** Condition – Missing part of the rear sight. This gun retains very little of the original finish, has seen heavy use, most of the metal has a brown patina from cleaned and oiled surface rust. The magazine tube has three very noticeable bends toward the barrel end. Most Likely the magazine spring was weak and the tube was bent to give the spring more strength.
