Description
Two Civil War Cannon Balls 7" & 6 3/4" Diameters Memphis, TN. These are solid steel cannon balls. (1) Ball weighs 46 lbs. (1) Ball weighs 43 Lbs. The cannon balls were found on the grounds of Annesdale Mansion, 1325 Lamar Avenue, Memphis, built in 1855 and on (National Historic Register). This cannon ball is part of a group found by Mr. Ken Robison, owner of Annesdale. The mansion served as a hospital during the Civil War. Condition – Good condition with some rust.
