Description
Two Civil War Cannon Balls 5 1/2" – 5 7/8" Diameters Memphis, TN. These are solid steel cannon balls. (1) Ball weighs 24 lbs. (1) Ball weighs 25 1/2 Lbs. The cannon balls were found on the grounds of Annesdale Mansion, 1325 Lamar Avenue, Memphis, built in 1855 and on (National Historic Register). This cannon ball is part of a group found by Mr. Ken Robison, owner of Annesdale. The mansion served as a hospital during the Civil War. Condition – Good condition with some rust.
