Description
Davis & Son Smithville, Miss. Stoneware Jugs. These jugs are marked with the more scarce, "Davis & Son, " mark. (1) Brown glaze four gallon jug. (1) Salt glaze five gallon jug. Provenance: Harold Boone Estate Tupelo, Mississippi. Condition- Brown jug has chips to mouth, one small chip at base and some glaze chips. See photos. The five gallon jug is in good condition with the exception of the handle which has three hairline cracks. See photos.
