Tony Fachet (1945-1998) "Empire Builder" Oil On Board Painting of Great Northern Railway Passenger Train In Rocky Mountains Being Pulled By Engine #505. The railroad ran from Saint Paul, Minnesota to Seattle, Washington. Tony was born in Chester, Pennsylvania. He studied at the School of Art Instruction In Minneapolis, Minnesota and the Washington School of Art, Port Washington, New York. Painting has a Newman Galleries label. Measures 22" X 28". Silver gilt frame measures 31" X 37". Provenance: George Johnson, Jackson, Tennessee. Condition- Painting is in good condition. The frame has some minor wear. See photos.
