Manner of Sir Thomas Lawrence (1769-1830) Portrait of Lady in Hat, Oil on Canvas Painting. Stunningly beautiful English lady wearing a rose adorned hat. The painting is likely the 1st quarter of the 19th century. Provenance: Lynne Fairchild Spragins Dodson estate, Jackson, Tennessee. Canvas measures 28" X 36". The frame is a 20th century antique style gold leaf with deep molding and measures 33 1/4" X 41 1/2". Condition- Painting has been relined and has had retouching, in-painting, and some possible small patches. Overall displays very well and the majority of the surface is in good condition. Painting needs light cleaning and has some light craquelure. See photos.
