Description
Antique Knight’s Templar Sword. Engraved with the owner’s name, "Lew G. Baker, " and manufactured by, "Ihling Brothers Everard Company, Kalamazoo, Michigan." This style of sword could have been used by several fraternal organizations, including, Masons, and Knights of Columbus, etc. Scabbard has enamel cross and crown and soldier decoration with engraving of owner’s name. Sword measures 35 1/2" long overall. Blade measures 28 1/4" long. Sword in scabbard measures 36 5/8" overall. Condition- Sword is in overall good condition with some wear. Some blade engraving has worn away. The lower portion of scabbard has some surface rust and plating loss. See photos.
