Description
1940’s Kay Made Orpheum Leader Four String Banjo with Banjo Case. The case is not original. Verso of head has pencil inscription with former owner’s name and address. Banjo measures 33 3/8" long X 11 1/2" diameter. Provenance the remaining inventory of Antique Archaeology, closed Nashville, Tennessee location.
Condition: Condition- Neck has paint and wear. Missing tuners and strings. Body has some wear, soiling, and minor surface rust to some metal parts. Case is worn, some scratches through leatherette, an improvised replacement handle, and loose wood components. See photos.
