Description
Rettberg & Lange Orpheum #2 Five String Banjo. The banjo has birdseye maple body, beautiful mother pearl inlay and intricately carved neck heel. This banjo is Patent # 724833, original celluloid Rettberg & Lange label inside body. Measures 38" overall with a 12" body. Provenance the remaining inventory of Antique Archaeology, closed Nashville, Tennessee location.
Condition: Condition – Old neck repairs in the 5th string tuner area with screws. Upper neck fingerboard damage. Missing splinter 2" Long from heel portion of neck on one side. Some cracks in body trim on back.
