Description
1930’s Plane Fan On Custom Stand, Galvin, St. Louis. Galvin AEO 110 Volt, 1/6 Hp Motor Airplane Fan. Manufactured by Galvin Electric Mfg. Co., St. Louis, Missouri. Ceiling plane fan mounted on a stand dropping two faux bombs. The fan has a brass Galvin name plate that measures 2" X 2 1/4". This type of fan originally were intended to be mounted on the ceiling. This item was picked by the American Pickers on Season 15 Episode 2. Measures approximately 51 1/2" high X 24 1/2" X 27". This plane fan is being sold for collectors purposes only and should not be operated. Provenance the remaining inventory of Antique Archaeology, closed Nashville, Tennessee location.
Condition: Condition- Custom built hanger for plane is bent. Fan blade/propeller turns freely, was not tested. Plane/fan has some bends and some minor rust. Bombs and plane can detached from stand for moving. See photos.
