First published in 1684, "Aristotle’s Masterpiece" was a popular medical manual on pregnancy and childbirth that also covered topics like the use and actions of genitals, monstrous births, and home remedies. It represents the pseudo-scientific beliefs and folklore of the time, not the philosophical teachings of the ancient Greek Aristotle. 142 pages in English, illustrated. Book measures 7 7/6" x 4 1/2" x 3/4"
