Condition: Condition – Good – Emerald green cloth cover has soiling, stains and wear. Gold snake emblem on cover is strong. Corners bumped and have minor wear. Spine has wear to joint, head and tail with small spilt to join near tail (but intact). Spine has hand-painted initials, lines, date 1888 and Caduceus. Gilt lettering on spine strong. Front hinge split. End paper, title page and contents page (3 total) loose. Remnants of sticker inside front cover. Contents clean. Old bookseller sticker inside back cover from W. Newman and Co.
