1 Oversized Hardcover – "The Campaign of Waterloo, Illustrated with Engravings of Les Quatre Bras, La Belle Alliance, Hougoumont, La Haye Sainte, Waterloo and Other principal Scenes of Action: Including a correct military plan, together with A grand view of the battle on a large scale (this engraving is missing). To which is prefixed A history of the Campaign, compiled from official documents and other authentic sources" printed T. Bensley and Son for Robert Bowyer (Publisher) c. 1816 (pages watermarked 1811-16). Contents include one engraved map, 3 pages of hand-colored aquatint plates and an engraved view of St. Helena. Engraving of "A View from Mont St. Jean of the Battle of Waterloo" is missing from this volume. Black cloth cover with gilt lettering on spine. The book measures 18" x 13" with text in English. Ex-library with stamps throughout. Combined lot measures approximately 18.5"x13"x0.5"

Condition: Condition – Very Good – Wear, light soiling and staining to black cloth binding. Corners bumped and worn. Spine has wear to head with wear and loss to tail. Gilt lettering on spine strong. Ex-libris (Blyth Public Library) inside front cover. Library stamps throughout. Hand-written check-out history on fly leaf. Pages have small tears, toning and soiling consistent with use and age. Full page engraving of "A View from Mont St. Jean of the Battle of Waterloo" has been removed. Please see photos.
