Description
U.S. McClellan Model 1904 Saddle. This saddle was standard equipment used by the U. S. Cavalry and mounted artillery during World War I. The seat is 12″ size marked “12” inside shield. Comes with a three star U.S. army saddle blanket and (2) Indian saddle blankets. Comes on a wooden stand. Condition- Aging and wear to leather. The girth strings appear to be made out of woven horse hair. Buckle and strings have wear and losses. See photos.
