Description
19th Century Engraved Double Barrel Percussion Shotgun by Unknown maker. The inside barrel measurement of 11/16" is equal to approximately 16 gauge. The barrel is Damascus, most other parts including the triggers are have engraved decoration. The walnut stock has nice checkering an engraved brass patch box. Ramrod looks to be a very old replacement. The gun measures 43" Long overall and the Damascus barrel measures 27" Long. Kennedy’s Auction Service will not ship this gun to California, New York, NY or any city or state that regulates the shipment or ownership of black powder firearms. KNOW YOUR LOCAL GUN LAWS BEFORE YOU BID. Condition – Missing forearm barrels keeper pin. The wood has wear, scratches and minor damage. The stock grip is missing a small recessed medallion. Overall wear and evidence of prior surface rust to metal. End of barrels have considerable wear.
