A late 19th or early 20th Century reproduction of a Renaissance Era painted Italian cassone or marriage chest. Chest is decorated with a Renaissance military scene in front panel and Italian coat of arms on lid and ends. The chest has a removable interior tray. Measures 28 1/4" high x 43 1/4" long x 18" deep. Condition- The chest is in overall good condition with some finish, gesso and paint loss.
