Nile Rodgers and Sesame Street Cast Signed Fender Stratocaster Guitar. This guitar was played by Nile Rodgers in a "We Are Family" video that featured the Muppets, Sesame Street, and Bear in the Big Blue House characters together with stars from other children shows in 2002. Nile Gregory Rodgers Jr. (September 19, 1952) is a well known American guitarist, singer-songwriter, record producer, and arranger. His hit songs have been recorded by Sister Sledge, Diana Ross, Madonna, David Bowie, etc. This guitar is signed by, Nile Rodgers, Sister Sledge "Joni" Bear in the Big Blue House, Big Bird, Click the Mouse, Leona Lion, Elmo, Oscar, Tutter, Makeba Motorcycle, Theo, and many more. Guitar is housed in a deep shadowbox frame custom built by Fender Guitars. The guitar is serial number MZ1080261. Frame measures 20 3/4" x 47" x 7" deep. Also comes with a "We Are Family Foundation" framed photograph. Thanking Montel Williams for his support. Frame measures 15 3/4" x17 1/2".From the personal collection of Montel Williams. The guitar was purchased by Montel Williams at a "We Are Family Foundation" fundraising event in New York City.
