Description
Jones & Rammelsberg 1840’s Ledger Cincinnati, OH. This ledger is from the Firm of Jones & Rammelsberg from the period 1842-1845. Seneca Jones and Frederick Rammelsberg were makers of cabinets and furniture from 1838-1845. Ledger is incised with gold leaf on spine, "J. & R." Measures approx. 9" x 13". The ledger contains hand written transactions for furniture, cabinets, and various other articles. Condition- Leather has wear, deterioration, and losses. Including some insect losses. Interior of ledger has toning, foxing, and some insect losses. See photos.
