Description
A 19th C. Italian Carved Alabaster Bust of Dante Wearing A Laurel Wreath. The bust has an incised signature lower back by The Sculptor E. Guerrieri. This work was most likely purchased in Italy by an affluent person on a 19th Century Grand Tour trip. Measures 15 3/4" High X 14 3/4" Long X 7" Deep. This piece is heavy and will be expensive to ship. Condition – Very good condition.
