Description
Assassination of President Garfield Period Newspaper Archive in Two 19th Century Scrapbooks. The books measure 10" X 12 1/4". The books are filled with newspaper articles covering almost every aspect of the assassination, funeral, investigation, trial and conviction of the assassin. There is approx. 150 pages and some loose newspaper articles. Condition – Overall good condition newspaper articles are pasted in the books. Some tears, folds inscriptions etc. The books have wear, some damage and one is missing the spine.
