Description
WWII Herkert & Meisel Trunk Mess Trunk, 1944. (9) 9 1/2" granite ware plates. (8) 9" granite ware bowls. (1) Granite ware platter, approx. 12" X 15 1/2". Includes some period flatware. (4) Salt and pepper shakers. (8) Cups. (1) Coffee/tea pot. Interior of trunk is divided into four parts. Measures approx. 15" high X 18 1/2" wide X 14" deep. Condition- Mess trunk is in an old blue paint, appears to be original. It has two leather handles, one appears to be a replacement. Interior of chest is in good condition. See photos.
