Description
Mid 19th Century Mobile and Ohio Railroad No. 68 Tintype Train Photo. Signed, "P. J. Huggins, Artist (Photographer)." The calligraphy reads, "J. C. Estes, ENG’R. J. W. Cook. Fir’N. Eng. No 68 M&O R.R." The tintype measures 4 1/4" X 5 1/2". (1) 1949 stock certificate Gulf, Mobile and Ohio Railroad Company 100 shares common stock. Condition- The photo is in overall good condition with some minor rust specks and scratches. The mat has deterioration, stains, etc., but the writing is still very legible. Stock certificate has been cancelled, has the perforation holes, some foxing and losses on one edge. See photos.
