Description
Two 19th Century Vion & Baury French Bisque Porcelain Figurines. (1) Neoclassical figural sculpture of "La Source" or Water Bearer figure with multi-colored vessel and gown. Marked with the embossed VB mark. Measures approx. 16 1/4" high. (1) Neoclassical figure of "Winter Maiden" or lady warming hands over fire by. Jean Gilles. Figure has a multi-colored gown, urn, and pedestal. Measures approx. 16 1/4" high. From the Waverly Mansion Circa 1852, West Point, Mississippi Collection. Condition- Water bearer is in good condition with possible minor touch ups. Lady with fire has a small chip on one flame which has been blended in and has some flaking at base that has been touched up. See photos.
