Description
19th C French Empire Abattant Secretary Desk. Mahogany and flamed mahogany veneer desk with fitted interior having drawers and drop front writing area. Two doors below the writing area and one drawer at top. The desk has two standing columns with bronze cap feet. Provenance: Lynne Fairchild Spragins Dodson estate, Jackson, Tennessee. Desk measures 60" X 36 1/4" Wide X 17 3/4" Deep. Condition – Good overall condition. The door has a crack in the veneer. The crack is in the veneer only and not in the wood underneath. The wood has some wear etc.
