Description
Ansonia Double Statue "Music & Poetry" Mantle Clock. Features elegant standing classical ladies flanking the clock. Good clock with double sunk enamel dial, exposed escapement, and time and strike 8-day movement. Porcelain dial is marked with, "A, " Ansonia mark under a beveled glass bezel. Case is cast iron with molded metal figures, base, and decorations. Measures approx. 20" high X 23 1/2" wide X 8" deep. Condition- Case needs some restoration, paint, etc. Works and springs look to be in good condition but is not guaranteed to run and is sold as is. Clock comes with the original pendulum and a key. Top finial of clock is missing upper tip. Clock still displays very well and missing tip is not very noticeable. See photos.
