Description
Folmer Graflex Speed Graphic Camera and Flash "Lightsaber" Attachment, Circa 1940. In 1977, the Star Wars production set decorator used a Graflex 3 Cell camera flash as Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber, giving birth to one of cinema’s most iconic weapons of all time. Affixed tag reads, "Speed Graphic….MFG’D. By The Folmer Graflex Corporation Rochester, N.Y., U.S.A." The flash handle is marked, "Graflex 3 Cell." Measures 16 1/2" high X 11" wide X 4" deep. Provenance the remaining inventory of Antique Archaeology, closed Nashville, Tennessee location.
Condition: Condition- Overall good condition. The flash attachment is in good condition. The leatherette case has some wear. Was not tested. See photos.
