Description
Vintage Kellogg & Wood Quarter Sawn Oak Case Crank Telephone with Brass Bells. The generator has been removed and a keyboard and modern conversion have been installed inside case. Phone has not been tested but was intended to work as a modern wall phone. The earpiece is also a modern conversion. The crank handle was removed from the generator and is inside the case. This phone hung on the inside wall on the right hand side of the Antique Archaeology Nashville, Tennessee store. Measures 21 3/4" long X 9 1/2" wide X 15" deep. Provenance the remaining inventory of Antique Archaeology, closed Nashville, Tennessee location.
Condition: Condition- Phone has not been tested and is not original. Generator has been removed and replaced with modern conversion. Crack to wood repair with putty at one attachment hole. See photos.
