Description
Original 1960’s 35mm Beatles Film. The reel was picked on American Pickers Season 16 Episode 2 "Sgt. Picker’s Lonely Hearts Club." The owner told Mike Wolfe and Danielle Colby that this was famous footage of the Beatles getting off the plane when they first came to America. The film has the original MGM identification wrapper and is inscribed in pencil after Title: News Reel Beatles Shots." The product number is inscribed in pencil: N425V. Print No. 8. Reel No. 1. Number of Reels, 1. According to an expert Danielle called, Larry Urbanski, theses Beatles reels were supposed to be sent back to the distributor to be destroyed. He stated that this could be the only one left in existence. This film is being sold for collector and private use only. MGM owns all rights to this film. Can not be sold to a documentary-maker or be publicly exhibited. Public performance rights are required to show a film outside of private home viewing, regardless of whether admission is charged. This restriction prevents public screenings, inclusion in film festivals, and distribution on streaming services. Condition: Condition- According to the owner, a theater operator, that sold it to the American Pickers, it was in good, viewable condition. Auctioneers have not viewed the film. Sold as is. See photos.
