Description
Supertone 4 String Banjo with Mother Pearl Inlay Neck. This banjo has decorative carving to the base of the neck and on the back of head stock. The head stock is a decorative simulated mother pearl that is labeled, "Supertone." Body Tag from Antique Archaeology, Nashville, Tennessee store reads, "1920’s Supertone Banjo. Season 12 Ep. 3 ‘Big Boy Toys’ CA. NFS." Provenance the remaining inventory of Antique Archaeology, closed Nashville, Tennessee location.
Condition: Condition – Some chrome plate loss, missing strings, old alligator finish, wear, wood separation crack at base of neck.
