Description
Pat. 1889 Gloeklers Cast Iron Butcher’s Trade Sign with Bull Finial. This sign features a meat saw, butcher’s knife, and meat cleaver with center Gloeklers information medallion below a cast iron bull. Plate reads, "Gloeklers Patent June 25, 1889 Farwell Ozmun Kirk & Co. St. Paul Minn." Measures 24" X 33". ***THIS LOT IS NOT BEING SOLD FOR ANTIQUE ARCHEOLOGY***
Condition: Condition- Good condition. Sign has been repainted. The new paint has considerable wear on cow and reveals an older gold paint underneath. The verso is in what appears to be the original silver paint. See photos.
