Condition: Condition – Aristotle on the Soul – wear to green cloth cover, spine head and tail and back cover, toning to end sheets, top edge soiled; Aristotle Problems – dust jackets has some chips to edges, toning; green cloth cover has wear to edges, spine head and tail, tonight to end sheets, top edge soiled; Thucydides – green cloth spine is lightly faded and spotted, foxing to end sheets; The History of the Peloponnesian War – very good – some wear to edges of cover, joints, and spine head. Spine tail has small area of loss. Spine has gold tooling with raised bands. Toning to fly leaves. Contents tight and clean; The Antigone of Sophocles – cloth cover in very good condition. Toning to end sheets. Tight and clean; The History of the Peloponnesian War (Arnold) – Good – former library copy. Spine has repair tape and typed title. Cover is discolored and has some loss to edges. Contents are clean and binding tight. Greek Thinkers – black cloth cover – loss to spine, edges soiled. Binding tight. Contents clean; Early Greek Philosophy – cover has some wear to edges, gilt decoration strong on cover and spine. Spine has light wear to joints, head and tail. Some discoloration to back cover. Front hinge split but intact. Contents clean with some minor toning. Greek Thinkers – red cloth cover soiled and had wear / loss to edges, corners and spine. Toning to end sheets. Edges soiled. Four Stages of Greek Thought – warped, soiled; Aristotle paperback – soiled cover otherwise in very good condition; Thucydides and his History – green cloth cover in very good condition. Corners bumped. Light foxing to end sheets. Clean and tight. Salambo – red cloth cover faded and soiled. Spine faded. Binding tight and contents clean; Larcher’s Notes on Herodotus – bindings are in poor condition with front and back board loose. Contents are clean and tight and in very good condition.
