Description
1 Unframed Oil on Canvas of a young girl on a pillow with a red background. Painting is unsigned and measures 20" x 15" x ; and 1 "charcoal on paper in silver painted carved oak frame of a maiden gathering wheat. Signed Linnie Walker. Original wood backing with handwriting in pencil Linnie Walker, Ripley, Lauderdale Co. Tennessee. Measures 23 3/4" x 19 3/4" x 7/8". Both late 19th century.
Condition: Oil on Canvas – canvas is soiled, has stretcher marks, scratches and areas of paint loss. Charcoal on paper – frame has paint loss. Glass is broken in lower right corner. Image has toning, water stains, soiling and some loss. Please see photos.
