12 London and UK Restaurant Menus and Ephemera c. 1980’s including 1 St. George’s Bar at the London Hilton accordion fold laminated paper menu in original mailing envelope dated 1987; 1 Kensington Grill Room tri-fold paper menu; 1 half-fold paper dinner menu and 1 half-fold laminated paper with paper insert wine list from the Lygon Arms in original mailing envelope dated 1980; 1 half-fold paper menu with single sheet inserts from the Marryat Room at the Chewton Glen Hotel in original mailing envelope dated 1980; 1 single sheet paper menu, presentation card and original mailing envelope from the Connaught Restaurant; 1 half-fold paper menu from the Savoy River Restaurant; 1 small half fold menu from The Cheshire Cat Tearoom; 1 half fold paper menu and typed letter signed by General Manager, Stefano Sebastiani in original mailing envelope date 1980 from Le Perroquet at the Berkeley London; 1 half fold paper menu with paper insert signed by Marjan Lesnik (Maitre Chef des Cuisines)including signed typed letter on letterhead and Terrine de Legumes recipe all in original mailing envelope dated 1985 from Claridge’s London; 1 single sheet dinner menu from Claridges dated 1980 in original mailing envelope; and 1 half-fold paper menu from Hyde Park Grill Knightsbridge. Condition: Condition – Hyde Park Grill – corner bent; Claridge’s single fold – crease across bottom, light soiling; Claridge’s half fold – creases to spine consistent with use and age; Le Perroquet – very good with very slight soiling to cover; The Cheshire Cat Tearoom – soiled cover, toning, hole punched in upper left corner; Savoy River Restaurant – very good – very light soiling to cover consistent with use and age; The Connaught – very light soiling and creases; The Marryat Room – light soiling to cover, creased corners; Kensington Grill Room – stains on cover; St. George’s Bar – very light toning; The Lygon Arms – both in very good condition.
