14 African Menus and Ephemera c. 1980’s including "Then and Now Nairobi’s Norfolk Hotel" by Jan Hemsing; 2 Hotel Ivoire (Cote d’Ivoire) half fold glossy paper menus (Aux 4 Coine du Monde and Le Toit d’Abidjan) including typed and signed letter on hotel letterhead in original mailing envelope; 1 Don Quichotte Cairo, Egypt half fold menu including had written signed letter on restaurant letterhead in original mailing envelope; 1 New Stanley Hotel (Nairobi) half fold paper menu, signed; 1 The Torn Tree tri-fold menu, signed and dated 1980; 2 The Norfolk Hotel Nairobi paper menus (The Lord Delamere (signed) and The Norfolk Restaurant )includes The Norfolk Hotel Social Diary Feb. 1980 brochure; 2 Hotel de La Mamounia Marrakech half fold paper menus (Nassim Grill and Nejma Restaurant) including information booklet and typed and signed letter from Pierre Vacher, Director General in original mailing envelope; and 1 Arabesque (Egypt) half fold paper menu, signed in original mailing envelope. Condition: Condition – Arabesque – light soiling and wear; La Mamounia Marrakech – folded at center, light wear; "Then and Now Nairobi’s Norfolk Hotel" – very light soiling to cover; The Lord Delamere – bent corners; The Norfolk Restaurant – folded at middle; The Thorn Tree -small black mark upper left corner; New Stanley Hotel – lightly soiled cover, ink signature on cover; Don Quichotte – very good condition; Hotel Ivoire – light wear consistent with use and age.
