Lot contains 10 vintage signed famous New York City restaurant menus including 1 Club El Morocco half-fold paper dinner menu, signed in original mailing envelope; 1 Le Cheval Blanc half fold paper menu signed Roger and Jeannine; 1 Sweets Restaurant half fold paper menu signed Lea Lake with Xerox newspaper articles, handwritten letter on Sweet’s Sea Food House, Inc. letterhead signed Lea Lake and paper menu on The Sign of the Dove letterhead signed by the Chef; 1 Wallys half fold paper menu signed in original mailing envelope c. 1984; 1 Single sheet paper menu from Bridge Cafe, signed Leslie Revsin in original mailing envelope; 1 Single sheet paper menu from Box Tree Restaurant, signed in original mailing envelope; Large single sheet glossy menu from Le Chanteclair signed by the Chef; 1 Angelo’s of Mulberry St. Inc. plastic half-fold cover with paper insert menu, signed including business card, post card and hand-written signed letter on Angelos letterhead dated 1985; 2 paper half-fold menus (one white, one green) from Ristorante Giambelli illustrated by artist Ciafalo both signed by Cuppi and Boselli in original mailing envelope dated 1981. Condition: Condition – Club El Morocco – very good condition – very light soiling to cover; Le Cheval Blanc – very light soiling; Sweets Restaurant – soiling and wear consistent with use and age; Wallys – good condition; Bridge Caf? – soiled and folded; Box Tree Restaurant – light soiling; Le Chanteclair – fair condition – multiple folds, small tears at edges, stains and soiling; Angelos – good – light foxing inside cover; Ristorante Giambelli – green (very good) with owners inscription, white – (good) cover lightly soiled.
