Lot contains 8 vintage Famous New York City Restaurant Menus includes one Lutece paper menu with botanical cover in original mailing envelope dated 1979, one Tavern on the Green Menu; one The Russian Tea Room laminated cover menu with artwork by Richard Giglio (13"x10") in original mailing envelope dated 1984; The Rainbow Room Menu (8.5" x 11") with letter on Rainbow Room Letterhead signed by Patrick Daily, General Manager c. 1980; in original mailing envelope; Two white paper Le Cirque Menus (14" x 11") and Two beige paper Le Cirque Menus (14" x 11") in original mailing envelope c. 1979.
Condition: Condition – Lutece (mint); Tavern on the Green (poor) – soiled, creased, tear at lower center; Russian Tea Room – very good – cover has bumped edges, minor creasing and light foxing on back consistent with age and use; The Rainbow Room – very good – some minor creasing to bottom right corner, Le Cirque – corners lightly bent, upper right corners lightly creased.
