Circa 1863 Satirical Mechanical Jefferson Davis Fort Sumter Card. Card depicts a smiling Davis with the caption.”After the Fall of Fort Sumter, 1861.” After pulling the tab, Davis’ smile turns into a grimace with the caption, “After the Fall of Fort Sumter, 1863.” Backstamp: “Designed and published by D. C. Johnston Studio building; Tremont St Boston.” Measures 2 3/4″ X 5 1/2″. Condition- Good condition with some toning to mechanical tab. See photos.
