Description
World War II German Mounted Sturmabteilung (SA) Training Table Medal. This award was also known as the “SA Award for Services Towards the National Socialist Equestrian Youth. The medal was awarded to individuals who made significant contributions to the equestrian activities and training within the SA. Heavy blacked cast metal depicting a horse standing over an Imperial eagle and German party symbol. German inscription on verso roughly translates: “For services in the defensive training of the German riding youth.” Measures approximately 4 1/4″ X 4 1/2″. Condition- Good condition. See photos.
