Description
U.S. Civil War Springfield Model 1864 Musket with Bayonet. Caliber: 58 Cal. Stamped with, “1864, U.S. Springfield; two eagles; VP eagle’s head.” Barrel: 40″ long. Bayonet is marked, “U.S.” Probably not original to this musket. The photos of the Civil War U.S. solider holding the musket is this actual gun. ***DOES NOT COME WITH PHOTOS. NO SHIPPING*** Condition- Metal has a polished surface. Stock looks to be original with very nice finish. Trigger guard and tang have a light surface rust. Bayonet has a pitted surface. Musket appears to be operable. See photos.
