Description

US Model 1860 Staff and Field Officer’s Sword. Nice Civil War era sword with a gilt brass hilt with eagle shell guard and leather covered wood grip with brass wire wrap. The scabbard is nickel-plated with decorative brass mounts. Overall sword with scabbard: 34 1/2″ long. Overall sword: 33 1/4″ long. Blade: 27 1/2″ long. Condition- Some oxidation to brass. Scabbard has surface rust. Blade has some surface rust. See photos.
