Civil War Canteens, Ink Bottles, and Ale Bottle. (2) Civil War Style Metal Canteens. The descriptions for these canteens come per the former owner. Confederate medical canteen with screw top and partial water label. Tagged by owner, “Confederate Medical Canteen Screw Top in Lord’s Vol. I Page 72.” Measures approx. 4 1/2″ dia. Confederate pie pan canteen. Tagged by owner, “Civil War Confederate Pie Pan Canteen.” Measures 9″ dia. (4) Civil War era stoneware ink bottles. Tallest measures approximately 9 1/2″ high. (1) Irish stoneware ale bottle. Unknown age. Measures 8 1/4″ high. Condition- Pie pan canteen has rust, dents, two small holes, and wear. The medical canteen has holes, rust on and around top, and a partial label. See photos.
