Napoleonic Engraving, Discharge Paper & Military Situation Report. (1) “Vue Interieure De L’ Assemblee Du Champ-De-Mai Au Moment De La Presentation Des Drapeaux” (Interior View of the Champ-de-Mai Assembly at the Moment of the Presentation of the Flags) engraving. This assembly was organized by Napoleon during his brief return to power known as “The 100 Days,” June 1st, 1815. Drawn by Pierre Martinet (French, 1781-???). Engraved by Jean Pierre Marie Jazet (French, 1788-1871). Engraving: 12 3/4″ X 17″. Overall: 14″ X 20″. (1) French “Conge Definitif” (Final Military Discharge Certificate), 1800-1801. This document is a record for the honorable discharge of a French soldier during the Napoleonic Era, giving details about their age, height, birth place, etc. Measures overall: 10″ X 15″. (1) June 1st, 1810 French military situation report for the “3rd Division of Cuirassiers.” Detailing troop numbers, classifications, observations, and logistical information. Labeled in upper left, “Armee D’ Allemagne.” (Army of Germany). Measures 15″ X 19″. Condition- All three have some toning, stains, edge wear, etc. See photos.
