Description
British Pattern 1821 Light Cavalry Trooper Saber. These swords were imported by both the Confederate and Union soldiers. Marked, “Tiffany & Co.” We do not believe this mark to be correct. Leather grip with brass wire wrap. Blade: 35 1/2″ long. Overall: 41″ long. Overall with scabbard: 42″ long. Condition- Blade has some discoloration from cleaned rust. Handguard and scabbard have surface rust. See photos.
