Description
Samuel King Rococo Lamp Circa 1860. This white opaline glass lamp with gilded decoration and gilded bronze rococo mounts. The oil burner is marked with the royal crest and embossed, "Samuel King’s Patent Brighton Lamp, Manufactory & Warehouse 47 Grand Parade Brighton." Measures 26" high to the top of the socket. Base measures 8 3/4" dia. The lamp has an old electric conversion, switch knob is faceted crystal. Condition- Lamp is in good condition with wear to the font decoration. Has old electrical conversion and should be rewired before electric use. See photos.
